Excellent. I look forward to a review. I may consider one for long highway road trips.

Keep us updated!

I have not forgot about updating you guys but we had some bad hail storms a few weeks back and my body shop guy has been very busy. He has to get the insurance jobs out in a certain amount of time so my job is not the priority. However he promised that I would be done early next week so stay tuned.

Ha. That makes sense. Was wondering how in the world something this small could take so long.

It looks good I must say! I'm moreso interested in an actual review from a buyer. And I want to hear how the highway noise is with it.

it looks okay to me but i wouldn't pay $1800 for it, i'd rather replace the new soft top and get a extra parts or something with that money. new softtop runs about $1300 parts and labor together in my area (Atlanta, GA). thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the info Yogi. I'm in the Atlanta, GA area too and my 08 Roadster softtop has a couple of tears around the window. Was wondering what it cost to replace. Been patching it up but the tear keeps getting bigger.

I love that hard top, it looks like it suits the car whereas the standard ragtop just doesn't look like it fits the car and looks like its been added as an after thought. I look forward to seeing plenty of photographs with it fitted once you take delivery and get it fitted.

Can the soft top be removed with its motor to reduce weight if using this option?

Yes that's what I did. You need to cut some of the tabs as they're used to mount the hardlines top to. Hard to explain but they're on the sides of the oem top mounting bracing.

The motors don't weigh that much. The top however does weigh a good amount. I never weighed mine, but it took two people to move... If I had to guess all of it might be around 100lbs conservatively, could be more though.

Thanks alot Resmarted! What do you think of the results? My only thought is what to do if some unexpected rain comes and the top is at home.
