Picked my PPW roadster today^^Questions
Hi,
picked my PPW roadster today and YEAH !! Z is Great car!!
But, i have a problem with opening the top, the dealer showed me today by unlock the center silver handle first and press the button, i did the same thing after i get home but it didnt work, anyone can help.
The stupid dealer shop gave me the wrong manual which is for the coupe so im not able to check the manual, gonna ask them for a correct manual tomorrow but it will be perfect if i can get a solution today.
I suck at speaking English, so it maybe some misunderstanding when you go thru my post. Make it simple: HOW TO OPEN THE TOP?
Yeah, im gonna post some pix asap^^

Not a Z owner myself (yet) but in dealing with other roadsters, generally you have to pull up on the parking brake (handle just to your right) to open up the top. Hopefully that will clear it up for you a little bit
To drop the top.
1) Do not lower top when it is wet or below freezing.
2) Stop car, keep foot on brake.
3) Push button to realease lock handle
4) Pull lock handle down until it releases the locks
5) Hold the button until all the hub bub stops.
It will not drop if the brake is not pressed. If you release the brake while the top is moving the top stops. You must then release the top button, re-press the brake pedal, then hit the button again. It is VERY strict about the brake pedal being pressed for the entire operation.

Nelson,
The manual I have is for the coupe and the convertible. Check again, there may be information on the top after all
Just to clarify Andy's instructions a bit:
1) Don't lower top when it's wet or temperature is below 32F/0C (it can damage the canvas and the mechanism)
2) Stop the car, keep foot on brake (you don't need to have the handbrake engaged)
3) Push the black part of the handle to release the silver part of the handle.
4) Pull the silver part of the handle down so the roof disengages from the windshield section.
5) Hold the roof button to the left and below the steering wheel until the hub bub stops.
When you put the roof back up, pull the silver handle to connect the roof to the windshield section and then push it up to complete the connection.
Cheers,
P.
