IDK... looks a bit of a mess (too much going on). I'm sure it will look better in a bright orange color... and some aggressive offsets. I'm sure i'll eat my words later when I see it in person ;)

I'm sticking with the Z33...

I think this is the base model. The pics we saw from germany look like a track version with the spoiler. I think that will look better.

and then there was crap.


I like the interior....but it does look messy. I guess id have to see it in person to really tell how good it looks or not. But those pics arent doing it for me.

I hope that clock on the third pod can be switched over to mph. I'm really used to having the speed reading right up top now.

That was pretty underwhelming after all this build up... I dunno, I keep saying "Ok, pretty cool, I'll wait until I see..." to make my opinion, but nothing is making me say I have to have it.

Nothing really awe inspiring here, but then again the camo pics of the standard Z were not awe inspring either. Now the track vesion from Germany WAS awe inspiring (I love that phrase).

Can't wait for the LA Auto show for the shock and awe!!!!!

Now I expect them to start releasing info on the "mini 370z" or "240/ silvia" replacement!

The prototype in Germany looks awesome. These pictures aren't so great. I'm definitely going to take one for a test drive, and see if I like the looks of it.

One note, I thought the new Maxima looked awful in pictures, but when I saw one in person I was pleasantly surprised. And I hated the Z33 when it first came out, still loved the Z32 bodylines. :dunno:

WTF is with the stereo and A/C controls?
 

There is something funny going on with all these pics. Look at the stereo. It's the same exact one in the Maxima. It's the same exact one in the German mule. HOWEVER it is completely different than the one in the American mule, which looked more like a final production unit and more like the 350Z controls. HOWEVER the image from Nissan looks more production ready.

I think this hi-res interior image may not be completely indicative of the final product. The painted 370Z could be the set-prop from the Need for Speed game. This just raises more questions.

This version does not have navigation - so perhaps there will simply be two differerent interior trim packages.

im sure once we see it in person it will a whole different story. I wonder if theyll bring back LS for the first year of production?:dunno:

I will say that it took me a few viewings to "get" the rear of the 350Z when it came out but I'm having to work a lot harder to appreciate some of the design decisions here. Then of course when I saw it in the round it was love at first sight so here's to hoping the same happens with the 370Z. Or not, for my bank accounts sake.

im not overly impressed. it looks good and i like it, but its not the "bam" i thought it was going to be.

I think it looks like pewp in that silver color, looks better in black.

I'm a lil dissapointed in the overall appearance. The taped blacked out version gave the me another impression. I'm gonna stick with my Z33 and boost the FK out of it eventually.

However when I saw pictures of the Maxima I thought it was but ugly then seeing it in person made me say wow. So here's to a nice test drive and next year!

z33 I think looks much classier, oh well.

I do want to steal one of those stock steering wheels and use it on my Z33 FTW.

I agree, that generation Tiburon looks more like a Supra ripoff than anything.

Makes one really appreciate the flowing lines of the Z33. The Z33 had one of the sexiest a$$es around and I am not getting that from this one. Still trying to take in the front end as well:dunno: Damn those heads/tails are ugly:icon23:

I like it. Smoother and more grown up than the previous model. I think this car will be a hit. The 350Z still looks good on the road, now the 370Z will look nice as well.

Well I guess my 08 will be worth alot more now. Woooohoooo!!!

1. the car is very fluid and slick. so why da hell make the roofline and glass angular ? i can see they want to capitalize on the gt-r, but wtf , pick one - round or angular !

2. head / tail lights - puke !!!

Exactly!!! I want some of their magic smoke too. Most people on this very same forum will buy one once they drive or see one in person. I have put a list together of everyone that has said they didn't like the 370z and wouldn't buy one!!! haha...

The rear is the weak point. Although I think the right spoiler may be able to "fix" that.

since this is for the LA auto I would think that there are a few things that won't make final production.

The audio/ac controls in the pics the OP set up, seem like there is no room for anykind of aftermarket unit that could replace it? whats with that?

I don't know, I think there will be a few changes for the final version, as for the looks I hated the maxima in pictures, but seeing it in person SEX

Are those dash speakers I see? It would be a nice upgrade to have a higher front stage from a factory dash location to compliment the woofer in the doors.

I really like the whole new look.. Very GTR inspired. It has some elements of the 3000GT in there too it seems.. (The Hood's arc)
