Steering wheel spacer
Since my new 370Z doesn't have a telescoping steering column I'm think of adding a spacer. I'm 6'3" and with the seat all the way back I'd like the steering wheel and little closer to my body. For those of you who may be familiar with the steering wheel assembly would this work with the stock wheel? I don't want an aftermarket wheel at this point and would like to maintain the airbag.

Welcome, but I wouldn't recommend that fleabay device. Having seen several different aftermarket installs in Z33 and Z34s, I'd suggest keeping the OEM wheel right where it is and adapting yourself to the new driving position.

I decided to purchase this spacer after reviewing this install vidio I couldn't find anything negative.
This guy did the install in 10 minutes, I'll schedule an hour.
It seems you could always go back to stock if it doesn't help.

My car is out of storage and I had a chance to install this spacer. I'm going to give this 5 stars. The install took the better part of an afternoon but it was worth it. I was able to move the seat all the way back and I gained a very comfortable arm hand driving position, just perfect. Getting the part took a couple of months but the vendor always responded to my emails for delivery update. Perhaps the covid impacted his production schedule? I highly recommend this mod for taller drivers.

This is a bit of an old thread, but I just ordered one of these and I know they are also available for the 370z:

I'll drop back in when it arrives with some comments
