I came across this article with photos. At this point, I'm not a fan.

nasty. looks like the solstice, but i do love 370 coupe im a fan
|
looks better than the last roadster IMO.. I do see the Solstice resemblance however. (The solstice LOOKED better than the last roadster as well).
Regardless, don't see myself in a roadster so moot point. |
looks great!!! def better than the z33 convertible.
|
meh, too soon to tell

I have and am a ZR fan but the rear does not work with the front. I feel like I am looking at two cars pc together. The silver rendering looks better than the blue shot so I will have to see in person to make my final decsion. The top looks better than the current ZR IMO it`s just the whole rear flair up over the wheels. I am somewhat dissapointed. I do like the new Z coupe. |
looks like the saturn sky.....not a huge fan
|
looks like it has the side rear of a ferrari california. It also reminds me of the z4.
|
:(like old one
|
Looks nice but never been a fan of convertibles! And it'll be at least 200lbs heavier!!!
|
You will lose structural stiffness
in a drop top. I like roadsters but in the Z you will l lose in chassis rigidity. That will negate the gaines the new 370 has over the 350. Lose the increased rigidity of the 370 and add a 150-200 lbs for roadster and you are behind the 350. Most convertibles are behind in performance to the solid tops. The Vette with frame on rails and the Porsche Boxster which was designed as a convertible are the only average cars which lose little to the hardtops. If you like the look fine but in the Z, you will lose in performance in the roadster..

The 350Z convertible is solid as it is...there is no flex in that car, believe me I have one for 5 years! The 370ZR can only be better tighter and lighter than the 350ZR... |
Copperhead
I hope you are right about the roadster. I would give up 150 lbs. if it has the same structural rigidity as the coupe. Few cars can make this claim however, if this is the case then I might be interested in the roadster. Will wait for the actual look and testing.

This says it best....the front doesn't 'work' with the rear...looks like 2 dif cars. But again - may be different in person.... |
Reminds me of the Chrysler Crossfire.
Yuck. |
change is good... i'm liking it!!!

350Z > 370Z especially the roadster.

350z roadster looks horrible imo..the lines don't flow at all..if those pictures are real they really improved the looks of the z roadster..370>350z looks department. |
