Too bad it looks like one of those BMW Z3 Roadsters now... not a fan of those lines.

Just saw the black cherry 2010 Roadster at my local Stealer and the wanted the $42K, plus $4000 for admin fees, what a rip off.

Blooster 11-11-2009 04:33 AM

Wow - that's steep. Maybe because it's the first? Still not seeing them around here.

Any opinions about the car, now you've seen it in person?

sal1 11-11-2009 05:41 AM

I got to seat in it. It is nice, but I don't care about the wheels. I'll try to post the picture I took from my cell phone as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Looks good but I think you're right about those wheels.

The rear deck is visually awkward. Like someone beat the sheet metal with a hammer.

Still can't convince myself to like the styling and odd curves of the 370 Roadster no matter what angle I look at it. Curious to see the outcome of overall sales and how it will compare to the 350 Verts. From what I've gathered, either you love the styling or you hate it... There is no grey area. Don't see myself getting into one of these anytime soon.

Did anyone buy a 370zr yet?

Motor Trend writers didn't like it either :(

Are you kidding me, I think the 370 Roadster looks incredible. Like sex on wheels. I love my 350z Roadster, even though the magazines and the coupe drivers all thought it looked awkward, I never got anything but WOW looks and comments from girls.

However, even I can admit that the new Roadster looks great, this time the roadster was designed as a roadster from the beginning. Pictures don't really do it justice, but in person it takes your breath away.

I agree the standard rims aren't great, but the upgrades with the sport package that includes the rev match and 19' rims, look amazing.

But the roadster with that package runs about $46K which is pretty steep.

But I admit the black cherry with the bordeaux leather seats makes me try to crunch the numbers to justifying upgrading.
