If there is a noticable amount of oil inside the exhaust pipe ends, the engine needs new compression rings at least and it will burn a lot of oil if you don't change them. That is a bit expensive.

Depends on your shop costs for labour but as an example of what they could probably change at that time:

High spec head gasket: $350
High spec head studs: $480
OEM Bearings: $780
High spec piston rings: $300

If you need new pistons, forged pistons from Cosworth cost approx.: $2,250 for a set. If you also changed the connecting rods to Cosworth, another $2,250.

Could also need a valve job which would cost more in parts and labour.

Labour cost: $1,500-$2,000
(All priced in Sing $)

You could also need new hoses, belts, plugs etc. for another $1,200-$1,500 depending on what spec you want.

Around $10k or more depending on what parts need to be replaced. Maybe $0 if it is in good condition.

A good re-spray will cost you about $3,000. A cheap spary for about half that but I would do it right if at all.

Thanks for advice, the dealer told me there is another 2004 unit coming 3 weeks. Hopefully, this one is better condition.

Do you hv any idea in SG where can I get the Nismo Anniversay Edition 18" rims ? Also how much for 18" rim and tyre will cost in SG, average Japanese rim wth 5 spoke design?

Thanks, JMNC

I found my Nismo Rays Engineering rims at Tan Chong (the Nissan dealer) and they were $6,000 with tires. I have not found any other low weight forged rims but they must be around.

not sure where you can find the Nismo Anniversary rims, but you can hang around the Singapore Z forum in the delphi forums. people do sell their rims from time to time.

Hi all,

stumbled upon this forum and was surprised and glad that there's an active group of 350Z owners in Singapore. I've seldom see more then 2 Zs at the same place at the same time. The only time was when i bumped into another red colour Z on the SLE towards TPE in the night. Felt nice cruising together.

I drive a silver Z350 Roadster, nothing much done on it. Anyway, i live in the east and it'll be cool to know more like minded enthusiast.

Cheers everyone.

It was just over S$80k in parts and labour all in and managed 401bhp at the crank/flywheel and 321whp. 329ft/lbs at the crank/flywheel and 263ft/lbs at the wheels. Was done by Garage R Performance Centre (HKS Technical Factory) here in Sg. I owe the great results to Lester and his great team there.

Might seem a little expensive to some but it was a project I really wanted to see through.
