New Speakers are in! Thanks.

I just wanted to thank all of you who posted the door, side, and deck panel removal instructions. I did the install in about 4 hours needing only minor customizations. I replaced the factory speakers with Eclipse SE8262 6.5" Coax. I really like Eclipse because the work well off low power (stock) or off amplified power. I did not amplify this go-round and I am not sure I will. I might just put a couple 8 in and be done with it. It already sounds great.

Notes: The rear speakers did not fit. the screw alignment was off and the hole was almost too big. I Dynomated the metal surrounding the speaker and lined up one hole and clamped the speaker down using surrounding holes. I was not concerned about the small offset this created because the are in the rear. Works perfectly.

The front was a different story. I bought an adapter plate like every one suggested but the damn thing was to small. I was bummed. Then the animal came out in me and I got destructive. You remember the factory speakers? HaHaHa, the fronts have this nice all in one construction and the holes match up perfectly already. Now the fun part. I got out my snips and broke the old speaker out and put the new speaker in. I solder the speaker wire to the factory leftover and it had enough lip left over to get 4 screws in. It fit like a glove. Very professional looking. I wish I had pictures.
