My Infinity and XM Audio System On The Cheap
I ust wanted to let you all out there know you don't have to spend a fortune to get a pretty decent system if you have some patience and are willing to do the work yourself. Thus far I've put together the following:
HU: Kenwood KDC-X789 (love the built in G-Force Sensor) $157.49
Fronts: Infinity 6010cs components $57.95
Rears: Infinity 6010cs (anybody need some tweeters?) $45
Sub: Infinity Basslink-X - $120
XM adapter for Kenwood deck and receiver - $62
From Crutchfield the prices would have been $349, the fronts $199, rears $199, Sub $299 and $100 for the XM stuff. All tolled over $1000 and I paid about $450.
Do some hunting one ebay and you can get good deals.
