Any opinions on this HU?
Was looking through some HU's because I have gone back to stock recently and really hate it. I have been through several HU's for various reasons. I just saw this one and thought it was interesting. Anyone have any opinions on it?

It is turned on in those pics or the display would have been easier to see, but it is colored amber and matches the interior lighting quite well.

I dunno man I am old fashioned I guess...
The only audio function necessary on a reciever is volume.
There is no point trying to EQ something that was EQed once already, with millions of dollars worth of equipment on your 4-700 dollar cd player.
Though some will probably disagree with that statement.

Yeah dont know what I was really thinking last night. Its not the unit I want at all. Have no idea why I even was thinking about this unit. I want to get the Alpine 9833 again which is what I had a few months back but sold it to get a ddx7015. Sold the ddx7015 for money to help pay for an engagement ring and got a Alpine 9835 in its place. Worst HU I have ever owned with the way it operates. I found a 9833 in great condition for $250 on ebay and just bought it. I will definately be happy again with it.

I prefer hu's that are more simple in design and functionality. Alpine used to sell a DD hu in the US that looked very similar to that. I believe that this unit is based on a model that is about 3 years old.
