Finally ordered my HU, I'm a picky SOB
 

LOL, I decided on the JVC KD-AR860. Mainly because of the switchable illumination that glows amber like the rest of the interior lights.

I would have chose a Kenwood or Alpine unit, but I'm not impressed with their displays....(especially on the <$500 HU's)

My main concerns were aestheitics, 5 volt outputs, and Sirius compatablility. I ordered off Ebay, ($200) and ordered the Sirius tuner from good ol' Crutchfield.

Based on previous posts regarding installation kits, I chose the American International kit from buy.com http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...8&loc=111&sp=1 and I bought the harness used from this site.


I'll proabably order components, a 4 channel amp, and sub soon. Once I complete everything I'll post pics.
