you are limited in 12's that will fit. A boston pro 12" should fit in a custom box. I have nazar's roadster box, and I am thinking of selling it and going this route.

Jl stealthbox
Dude, Nit sure how much of trunk space you want to keep, but the JL stealthbox doesn't take that much space, look clean and it's not that expensive.
I would replace the 2 x 10w3 for 2 10w6, but that is up to you and also from where you get it!

After living with this set-up for some time, here are a few things you should know about audio in the roadster:
1. The sound is WAY different with the top up vs. top down. It is even way different with the side windows up or down. It is even different at different speeds with the top down.
2. You will lose a lot of bass with the top down and windows down. My sub fires right at the back of my seat, and although in a sealed cabin, this may not be the best set-up, in an open car, it still provides a good punch, and even if you can't hear the bass as loudly, you will still feel it, which actually goes a long way to giving you a bass sensation.
3. With the windows down, your highs seem exaggerated. I think this is due to the frequencies that compose wind noise, which really seem to amplify highs and drown out midrange.
4. The key to a great audio system in the roadster is to get a head unit that has a great multi-band equalizer and allows you to store a number of settings. That way you can easily switch between different settings for your different top/window configurations.
