Default Anyone else with an Alpine...

I've got an IVA-D300 and for some reason when I watch a DVD on it the volume is really low. Anybody else have this problem? It gets really really loud when I'm listening to music but on DVD it won't get nearly as loud...even turned all the way up.

I've tried all my settings and everything. I can't figure out why it's like this. It's almost impossible to get a movie loud enough to hear while going on the interstate.

It helps pass the time...just listening to a movie you know makes the trip go so much faster.

Did you have a bose system in the car originally? If so, the power antenna is turning off when you change sources to DVD. You will need to have power on all the time to both of the blue wires on the adapter harness.

What does it matter if the power antenna is turned off? My music is pleanty loud using CD, my I-pod, Sirius, or FM Radio...only one that's quite is DVD.

I have the IVA-D310,
what is your setting for the Media Xpander?
MX DVD (off, movie MX 1 to 2)?

My setup is going to be different because i have the external audio processor PXA-H701. So im able to adjuct the DVD level. Try the above. It is in the manual.

Good luck
