JL 500/1 Remote Auto-on Lead....Help.
Guys.
I have 2 x JL500/1 and 1 JL 300/4, When i did my install somehow I missconnect the remote lead. So I end up without the remote signal.
As a temp solution I Install a swicth so I turn on/off the amps manually, however this is the second time I forget to turn them off and my battery is dead (it usually happend after a night out since when I get home I'm either Drunk or really tire)
Anyway I want to see some ideas on how to solve this issue. I want to avoid at all cost to re-take the car apart to re wire the romote lead.
I know that the JL 500/1 have a remote Signal sensing that it supose to sense when there is a Audio signal and turn the amp on. However I haven't be able to make this Funtion work (it just turn on the amp for a few seconds after the pass the sw, but then it go off)
feedback with people using the auto on funtion is really appreciate. and all other ideas are welcome too.
Thanks!

i recommend just rewiring the remote turn-on wire. however, if you want to use the remote sensing thing you have to make sure to change the switch that says input voltage from low to high. in my experience, for whatever reason, the amp will produce less power if you use the high voltage input feature.

high Volt input Does not work
Well.
The remote signal Sensing using High Voltage Input does not work, It still does the same thing go on for about 10 sec and then back off. I read the JL manual and it supose to work just out-of-the-box when the Sw is pass on. ((but is not the case))
The Fuse Panel sound like a good idea, can you please be a bit more specific, where is the panel and How do i find the right fuse.
Thanks.

Ok got it!
The Fuse Thing worked great. I just tested it and it working just fine. I just need to hide away the wire and I'll be done.
Thanks
BTW: The Fuse I usde was the 15A Blue on the top row, on the Driver side Fuse box.
