watching dvd's on the navi screen
 

Would it be possible to watch any kind of dvd's on the navi since it is playing from a dvd rom? What kind of changes would i have to do in order to have the option to watch dvd's on the navi screen?

The factory dvd-rom drive, so far, has not been hacked to play standard dvd formats. I have read about some people trying this, but the player itself is a proprietary format between Nissan and a seperate nav development company (can't remember the name). I don't know if anyone will ever get it hacked or not...but I doubt it.
