No Volume Control on Z's Steering Wheel??
 

Why does nearly every other new nissan '03 models have the stereo controls on the wheel, except for the z? Are there plans to ad this option for '04?

Because they knew how bad the Bose system was and anticipated that everyone would be replacing the stereo. They also knew that the then "useless" buttons on the steering wheel would be fodder for ridicule (and bad memories) in the future and didn't want to take the "joke" that far.... :D

You CAN get remote converters to use those wheel controls, even if you don't keep the factory HU, you know... :)

I've been contemplating doing that if I swap out my Bose. I'd get the controls off the FX45, then the converter, and I'd be set.
