Amp doesn't start for a few minutes
:icon11: Guys,
It seems like my sub amp won't power up unless I drive a few blocks (when I first start the car). At the same time my 4 channel amps works fine. Any suggestion before I start to troubleshoot. Maybe start with ground and remote turn on? The 4 channel and sub amps share the same location for ground. Tony |
what amp is it?
try when you first start the car, when just the four channel is one, go to the back and wiggle the wires on the sub amp to see if anyhting makes a difference... b |
do you run giant caps for the sub amp?

if you want to isolate the remote being the problem, run a remote line directly from the amp thats working to the one that isnt. kinda daisy chain the remote line and that should let you rule out the remote line being the problem.
