So far everything works properly. Got the 7100 hooked up with rear camera, bluetooth, XM, ipod, kcas-220a, and farenheit.
I am disappointed that the only things you can watch on the Farenheit are the dvd and rear camera. I really thought that I would be able to have the nav or tuner/cd/ipod screen up on it. Kinda wasted my time with it IMO.

What was the result of this. How did it get fixed?
Was it mounting? wiring? Adjustment? Reset?

Hey Tech, have you been able to figure out how to set the time on the GPS. The GPS clock seems to differ from the actual time in the audio screen. I was able to set the audio time with no problem but cant figure out for the life of me how to change the GPS clock. I went through the GPS menus and found the general gps info and the date is correct but the time is off an hour. So when i set routes it shows the arrival time an hour behind. And the daylight savings option is set to auto if that makes a difference......

As you may or may not know, with the GXM30 (as opposed to the standard XM antenna) the headunit itself will not recognize a SAT input from the source selection screen. The only place you'll see it is through the Nav portion. If you go to the XM Music Player section through the Nav "Tools" menu, you'll be able to get some information about the radio id, your subscription status, and all that.
I was initially able to get nav traffic, weather, and stock data working, but music wouldn't play. Finally I found the 'Navigation Line In' setting in the 'Audio Setup' menu, enabled that, and changed the audio source to 'Navigation'. Since then, music has been fine.
Hope this helps, I've been trying to get to know this unit, there sure is a lot to it.

Where are you mounting the antenna? Any pics of it installed?

Make note of my post earlier about how the XM Radio functions with it. It definitely works, but I'm thinking that in retrospect the move would've been to bag the NavTraffic/Weather/Stocks/etc and just use the standard XM adapter.
