Mounting Amp Behind Driver's Seat & Heat?
 

hey guys,
Do I need to have the plastic panel off behind the driver's seat when running my amp? It would be better if I can close it back up. If I do close it, will I run into heat problems? My amp is only a 300 watt amp.

Its ok. I have a 500 watt rms and a 220 watt rms amp, underneath the passenger seat and behind it directly, no heating issues and the passenger seat is directly ontop of the amp and in front of it.

My 1500watt amp runs back in that cubby for hours with the cover on...had it shut off ONCE though, after about 5 hours of driving...
