left front speaker doesn't like g-forces

hey guys,

my left front speaker keeps going out when i brake or accelerate hard. then iit will stay out untill i brake hard again and it will work again. clearly there is a lose wire or thingy somewhere.

i've removed the doorpanel and played with the wires without any succes. i've removed the radio and played with the connections/wires without any succes.

also i can't really see g-forces affect wires much...

what could be causing this and how do i locate it?

am i crazy for thinking something inside the radio itself has come lose and is moving around?

i have the extra same problem.

mine is 04 350z conv.

anyone here in US having the same issues??????

I have the same problem except on a g35 and it only happens when playing a cd (it isn't the cd skipping) it works perfectly when the radio is on. I think it is the headunit.

I would inspect the speaker wires and see if they are stripped anywhere and touching metal (grounding out)....or check the pins on the deck wire harness.

Also in case the speaker is going out read the ohms with a volt meter.

The stock speakers aren't known to be good...

The stock speakers (I don't remember if it's just BOSE or the standard too) like to do exactly what you're explaining.

i've just ordered an kenwood 8220 system.
once installed i will post if it solved the speaker issue thus proving if its the headunit or something else.

from what I have read on here, it is an issue with the head unit internally. That seems to make sense to me as it will only cut out when listening to cd's and not the radio. I have tried getting the dealership to fix it, but they are not able to reproduce the problem when they have it.

You can fix the problem with a quick jab to the side of the headunit. lol.

left speakers going in and out

The Problem you guys have is a internal connection in the bose head unit. There a sevice bullentin from nissan for this issue on 03 350z with bose. I have a 04 350z with the same problem. Im going to take it to the dealership to have it fixed. Its annoying as hell.

I don't think this is necessarily true because I have the same problem and I have an aftermarket head unit... with the bose speakers.

Is your speaker still cutting out with an aftermarket radio? 04 with a same problem with bose system and I am debating to buying a new HU or a new who system.
