AVH 2300DVD - still won't play any video..
 

Hey guys, about a week ago I dropped my car off at a friend's house to install my new head unit (in title) while I was at work. He had an issue with the install (which is really odd, because he did the SAME install on his 03 G35 flawlessly). For some reason, the unit was receiving no power. Now I'm not sure on EXACTLY what he did, but I'm pretty sure he 'made it work' by taking the parking brake wire from the Pioneer harness and ran it as a hot lead maybe?? I'm honestly not too sure, but the head unit works perfectly - minus the video, obviously because the parking brake wire isn't in the right spot I'm assuming?

I'm looking for some helps so I can just fix this myself as he and I both have insane work schedules. The car came stock with Bose, and yes I used the two seperate harnesses for it.

Run the parking brake wire to a switch, and from the switch run it to a ground.
