Bose HU won't turn on, but lights up
 

I just pulled my car out of storage. It has sat for 4 months. The head-unit will not turn on. However when I turn the headlights on, the orange lighting around the buttons illuminates.

What gives, I was about to tear into the fuses to see if one is popped but if the head-unit is getting power (to power the button illumination) that can’t be the issue.

Is this a common issue, do you think it is a fuse?

Blown fuse. All fixed.

Hey Corbic, which fuse was it exactly. I have the same symptoms, Orange lights work when head lamps are on, but the display/sound/cd eject etc are all dead.
