2003 touring oem nav screen won't turn on
Just picked up the car Friday and the navigation was working great only used it a couple times. Used it yesterday and it worked fine. Woke up today opened the cubby door and the screen wouldn't turn on and the dvd player is doing 2 long beeps. the lights light up for the controls and the dvd player has power but the screen is black. Anyone encounter this problem before and if so what is the fix for it. Thanks in advance.

You are experiencing a problem with a device that is 10 years old and lived the entire time in a very hostile environment. It’s shot.
The question… Do you want to spend $$’s repairing 10 year-old technology? --Spike |
thanks for the input guys. I'm thinking it was a loose connector cuz it stopped working the day after I went over a curb. Then the other day it didnt turn on still and I hit a pothole on the drivers rear so i was like lemme see if it works and bam it turned on and still is working.

That is certainly a unique repair method. I don’t know if anyone here would have thought of that, but glad to hear it’s working again. --Spike
