SOS Aftermarket stereo help

Alright, so after a very frustrating day and research, i have decided to come to the forum with my problem...
First off let me say i've but in dozens of stereos in all sorts of cars.
However my 2006 350z with bose is puzzling me...

I just got a JVC KWV-20BT double din deck. I can't bring myself to butchering factory wires so i also got the aftermarket harness "Metra 70-7551" and a dash kit (which is really just trim). Started Connecting all the wires. when I realized i had no speaker wire hook ups. (Green, Green/Black, Purple, Purple/Black, etc). I instead had 4 Male RCA plugs(Purple, Green, White and Black).

I got frustrated thought maybe I was given the wrong harness, ran to the nearest walmart. I picked up a Scorche NN03B, and it was not even close...:suicide:

Soooo I don't know if I am over looking something or I am missing something, anything will help...

should be in the same plug as the power stuff, but it is possible that the radio only has rca preouts

The head unit harness has speaker output wires. I'm thinking you do have the wrong harnesses.

If you're trying to install the aftermarket head unit AND keep the bose amp/speakers, then I think you'll need some type of wiring harness with a bose interface like the PAC AOEM-NIS2 or ROEM-NIS2.

IIRC, the reason is because Bose operates off different ohms (2? :dunno:) as opposed to the typical 4 ohm.

When I did my install, I kept the Bose setup and just replaced the OEM head unit with aftermarket. I used the PAC and have zero problems.

If you're replacing all the speakers and bose amp, then the harness you already have should work fine.

Oh, no. I'm retarded. You said you have bose. You don't have to wire to the green/purple/white/grey speaker wires. Plug those RCA's into your outputs on the head unit. They go to the bose amps.

On your Metra harness plug them in as follows.

Green - left rear
Purple - right rear

White - left front
Gray - right front

It's the correct harness, you just use the rca outputs on the radio to properly interface with the blose amp
