2003 350z touring Bose headunit help

I recently was able to purchase a new headunit and while removing the clips in the back of the headunit I somehow managed to unpin the larger clip :suicide: . Now I'm left with a cluster of colorful wires with no idea where they go. As far as how to put the pins in I know how to do it. As far as trying to make it work I've tried to search for where the colors go but for some reason I just haven't been able to find anything about some colors of the wires I have dangling around. If anyone happens to know where what goes it would be very much appreciated!! I've put some pictures to try and show what color wires and what clip I'm talking about

Your car just did you a favor... Now throw that bose in the trash and get a new head unit all new speakers and run new speaker wire...

Just cut all those and black tape them and never talk about them again.

If you can read a wiring schematic, Page 10 from the FSM should help you out.

I'm not sure which green wire you're referring to, but it could be the ACC signal that has battery voltage when the ignition switch is turned to ACC or ON.

Google "350z bose connector " and click on images. There are some images there that should help you out.

Help again

It's been a while I've googled I've tried I've done this and that and I just seriously can't figure this out and it's to the point I don't know what to do. No picture I can find is clear enough or just matches what I'm looking at and I need help seriously at this point. I'm currently left without a radio/headunit, please anyone that can point me in the path of fixing this thank you

I might be able to help you out. Way back when I was doing my audio install I printed stuff from Crutchfield.
I just found it but I tried to enter the link but it is dead.
Good thing is I still have the printed pages. I would have taken a picture and post for you but can't use photobucket anymore. Haven't had time to find a new image hosting provider. The 10 wires dangling out are from the bigger connector. The connector shown in your post is the small one with the wires intact. It is supposed to have 6 wires. Can you confirm that the bigger connector has 10? 4 on the top row and 6 on the bottom.Just count the number of slots that have metal pins. If so you can pm me so I can text pictures.
All you have to do then is to find the nissan color code abbreviation list to know what they mean. Or you can post the pics I send you for members to help explain them

I think
l.gn is light green
Yw is yellow
Gn is green
Rd is red
Bu is blue
Wt is white
Bk is black
Bn is brown
Pk is pink
Gy is gray
this is what the guy above sent me and man it finally saved me! It's pretty straight forward to read. Keything he told me is that this is if it's facing the back of the headunit!! So if it doesn't work try flipping the wires, cause I had accidentally done it backwards the first try but after flipping it I was all good. In my cases I had two blown fuses as well one in the engine bay and one one down under the steering wheel by the pedals.

So helpful I remember I put a cd in for testing purposes then left it in their for the guy who was going to buy this junk... However he never picked it up and I kinda want the cd back now.

Slam it onto the ground and stomp on it. I heard they love that.. jk(not really)

You have to remove the top. Then you'll be able to manually operate the ejection mechanism.
