How to add a tablet to my 2004 350Z STEP by STEP

Hi there!

I want to add a tablet, to the dash (right above the head unit) to my 2004 350Z.

Can someone who has done it provide me step by step instruction, especially wiring the unit, tools required, and actual procedures to do it?

Thanks,
Mallika

Welcome- to provide a better answer to your question, there's no DIY tutorial for how to install a tablet computer in the dash of a Z33. It's purely a custom job and if you SEARCH this site you might find a few examples and threads. While the members here are knowledgeable and helpful, they don't suffer foolish questions lightly.

Thank you. Good to know.

I have done the nexus 7 install successfully.
Actually I am still in the process of making it better. This weekend I am working on the no battery mod because I have been concerned about the lithium battery in the dash. There is a thread about nexus 7 install. Read through that. Also search youtube for videos about hacking into the power wire so you can control on off without the buttons.

Thanks, beezee. I was just reading the Nexus 7 install post. Thanks for the pointers. I will started with the project this weekend.

jasmine350z .Any updates on the project? If you dont mind posting some pictures.
To the gurus. This is just a humble request. Not many of us are blessed with capabilities to do what comes as a second nature to you all. The search function brings up so much that one gets confused and many a times I get lost of what i was looking for. So please put us down gently, is all we newbees are requesting. We do need your help Thank You.

Don’t expect an answer. Like so many people often do, they come here, ask a question, then don’t have the courtesy to close out the thread with solutions or a word of thanks for the help. Psh, OP hasn’t been on here since the original post was made.

I understand. You highlighted the real problem. I am a member on many forums including motorcycle, Nissan Frontier Toyota Celica etc. and the same problem is there as well
