Default 5.6" tv in rear strut tower brace

Ok, I know this does not make sense but it certainly gets a lot of points in the car shows, not counting when you are bored at the car shows you just play PS 2 standing at the back of the car.

Would be cool if it flipped up when you opened the hatch...

At that angle, you can't even really appreciate it from the back of the car. I would agree with the pop up option though!

Would be cool if it wasn't so pointless.

You could probably see it off of the reflection of the rear window while looking in the rear view mirror. Now who says its pointless?

Pointless, actually it draws quite a few points, IN CAR SHOWS IT DRAWS A LOT OF POINTS. Obviously you don't know about car shows, but then again you can watch while trying to catch me

Actually they did build it where the screen is in the same angle as the rear glass so you can see it with the hatch down. Really no different then people building 90 lbs subwoofer enclosures and adding a tv to them, I just saved the 90 lbs.

while we are in the TVs in the rear subject would it be cool to put lcds in the headrests primarly for shows and the people driving behind you? i have tint that is pretty dark but you could still see it somewhat...waste of $ or sumthin kinda cool? tvs are cheap nowadays like 120 for a decent lcd...so $ isnt a huge deal

I guess you didn't notice my smiley... or you're just a "spaz" (as we used to say, way back when).

Chill...

You should put a cover on that screen when you're not in a car show.
If you park outside on a sunny day, the sun will destroy the LCD.

Did you not notice my smiley face at the end of my comment, Chill yourself. I posted this knowing that I was going to catch some serious flaming, I knew you were joking but I figured you would get a kick out of mine.

It's all good my man

It really does not get driven that much, mostly car shows. But I have a 10 X 10 tent that I put over it at the shows and a car cover on the days I do drive it. I do agree that over time the sun could possibly damage it, I will have to watch it and see what happens.

Thanks guys

I am having the whole hatch area custom done. I will also be incorporating a 15" motorized flatscreen back there. Car will be going to the shop in a month. I'm thinking in terms of show and tailgating. I wish they would come out with Satelite video with a more appealing dish or antenna.

thanks dude, ive got an online album feel free to check out, got a couple of dad's cars in there too, and some Alfa meets

I bought the headrest screens off a US site, speedsound.com. They cost me around aus $500 for both shipped, which compares favourably to the aus $899 ask each over here Theyre mounted in the surrounds that come with the screens, only i had them vacuum painted to match my seats

I also bought the Dolby Digital/DTS processor from them, and again i saved close to $1000 compared to the Aus price. All these add ons just plug straight into the mod box of the deck, tho with the screens my installer had to fit a video amp to get a clear picture on both screens as the signal was split bw the two

The deck tho i had to buy here, and it cost around 3times what theyre worth in the US But i needed it to play region 2,3,4 dvds and be compatiable with a pal tv tuner.

btw do u have ne pics of the 935 in ur Z? Have u mounted it in the middle or using a single din? Do u have ne pics at nite with the red deck lighting?
