My audio/nav system, with Nazar's Sub Box

Nazar's box is tight.

Finally got a chance to post some pictures. The subs really sound good. I had to pretty much dynamat the entire trunk and the hatch to get rid of some minor rattles. I am glad that I only put in 2 - 10w6v2 subs in there because 3 maybe overkill. My biggest mistake is the vinyl finish. After looking at the other threads, I should have had it painted like my car's chrome silver.

The pioneer p7500dvd and nav avic-80dvd are awesome. They work really well together.

Looks good

hey arvin,

how much did the pioneer set you back and did you do the install yourself?

i own a g35 coupe and am seriously considering getting that head unit and nav.

my would-be authorized installer said he could get it for me for $2600 installed. I've seen prices on 6ave.com for $2500 and change for both units.

nice subs and amps.

sounds good. u have any details?

$800 is a REALLY good price for all that stuff. i'm assuming you included the price for the mini-computer, screen, Navigation program and whatever else is needed.

i'm interested.

That's an excellent price. I did pay a little over $3000.00 installed for my head unit and nav. I know the guy who sold me the units for a while now. I trust that they do a good job and protects me with a very long warranty.

I would wait till march 04 if I were you. The new pioneer nav/dvd/mp3/touchscreen unit will be out. It will retail for $2700.00. It will also have features like g-tech pro.

Re: Re: Looks good

that system sounds awesome, but i didn't find the $2700 price tag on their website. seeing as how it'll have more features, i would imagine it will be more expensive.

and from what i remember, it'll be a 6.5" screen.

lemme go check right now to be sure.

yup, it's a 6.5" screen. the 6500 plus AVIC-80 retails for $1900 already, so if it is $2700, that's $800 more.

not worth it to me. i hope it's release will drop the price of the 7500.

Sure, I'll try to take some pictures this weekend then post it on Monday. It seem like it's raining though this weekend in Cal.
