Hi Guys,
My dealer called last week, said my car docks in Townville (North Queensland) on the 9th of April. I am not sure if that makes it a late 2nd or early 3rd allocation. VIN is ...1101. He said I should get it the following week, but I think I will get it after the easter break.

I was wondering if anyone has installed any headlight protection for their Z. I beleive the only option is a clear film and no option for hard plastic. I gather a "car bra" would also do, but I don't want to go that way.

I think it's 3rd allocation Bev. The same ship is due to dock in Sydney on the 14th so it seems our cars have shared the cruise

My dealer told me the ship could be a day or two early or late and that it'll be about 3 days to clear customs and make it to the dealer so I'm hoping I'll have it just before Easter although I'm sure it won't turn out that way.

Given the ship docks there on the 9th I'd be surprised if you didn't have it before Easter.

You can get the clear film on the bumper as well. You may have seen all the posts about the 3M clear bra, that's what they're referring to. There was a post in the Oz forum here a couple of days ago with the details of the Aust distributor.

Still waiting.
I don't expect it until late next week, maybe after easter week-end. I have to call the dealer about window tinting etc on Monday, so I will let you know if I find out anything more.

You can get headlight protectors from here. www.rockblocker.com they use a clear vinyl film that will protect your lights from anything
