Shine Auto Project: Combined Shipping of Aero Parts going to Sydney, NSW

Hey guys.

We've decided to create this thread to help organize combined shipment of our aero products going specifically to Sydney, Australia. We are a manufacture of after-market aero parts.

Details of our products can be found here.

https://my350z.com/forum/body-exterior-366/

Why is it necessary to combine shipping?

Because our parts are large and lightweight, shipping internationally is very expensive. Shipping costs are determined by our carrier based on the size of the box, not necessarily the weight of the package. Basically, whatever fits in the box... goes. No additional charges. If we can ship 2-3 aero kits in almost the same sized box as 1 aero kit, why not? :)

To give you guys an idea of what's going on, here's an actual shipping quote from our carrier (Baxglobal).

Example 1:

Door-to-Airport air freight service. The fastest service. Package must be picked up at the airport.

Going to Brisbane Airport. Package size : 79x23x30 inches (good enough for 1 full aero kit and a few items)

Cost: $600 (does not include duties and taxes).

Example 2:

Same service and location as Example 1. Except box size is 79x23x33 inches. (Good enough for 2 full aero kits and maybe a few other items since bumpers and sideskirts can "fit into" each other.)

Cost: $680

The savings in combined shipping is extremely significant. All it takes is a little more work on our part and your part.

The Catch

All items must go to one location. Shipping to a business is more expensive than going to an airport, but I can quote that upon request. We simply need the name and address of the business to get a quote. All participants MUST agree to share a package with each other.

We're putting in the extra effort to save you guys some money. The more money you save, the more business we will get :). That's how I see it.

I will list the participants who are close to Brisbane and are interested in our products.

The more participants, the lower the shipping cost per unit! I will estimate the size of the package once I have confirmed individuals "seriously" interested as well as items that will be purchased.

Currently the box size will be 79x23x35 inches.

If you guys know anyone else in the Sydney area that might be interested in our products, let them know!

For a package sized 79x23x35, shipping is $700 for Door-to-Door (business only) and $660 for Door-Airport. You guys choose.

I believe we should have 3 individuals looking to make a move shortly.

Let me know if you guys have any further questions.
