Default Hi Tech 350z system complete

Hi there,

The Hi Tech system being developed on my car is now complete so I thought I would send everyone a picture of how it came out.

The system comes in 3 pieces, the muffler and then the mid section which includes the Y-Pipe and centre. The rear is very much stock looking which is what I liked.

Another unit is being sent down to Melbourne to be fitted onto another car to get dyno'd and see how the results compare to the 18rwkw on mine.

If you want one of the systems please contact Hi Tech direct. I am just posting the pictures as an FYI for everyone - I dont work for Hi Tech so sorry I dont have prices or anything.

I must say they looked after me so I am very pleased!

Regards
Mike

I believe you use the "attach file" box below the reply box. For multiple I presume you just go through the process once for each.

Can you upload them to your ISP webspace and link to them instead of trying to attach them via the forum?

I have contacted the moderators because the files and 640x480, under 200k and still get rejected!

Well has posted by Mike, I'm the lucky guy in Melbourne to get the other HiTech system for evaluation and testing, this catback system is Aussie made and designed. I will install this week along with a dyno run, will post results along with some photo of the finshed installed.

David

There is a photo of the system before installation.

SS, the colour is wrong for Ti (not to mention Ti is hard to polish which drives the cost up if you want that).

Very interested to hear weight and see the dyno.

I'd be very very keen if it can be done in Ti, the weight benefit is amazing.

I don't care what it looks like, the important thing is power/torque and SOUND!

It looks like a very clean design. Ti would be good . Is there a cost estimate ? Are you doing the install yourself? Can we get a sound clip when done ? Is that too many questions?
I still like the Amuse Ti better
This post is getting interesting !

zuffy

HiTech will be hoping to manufacture this unit in Ti when they source a good supply of material at a reasonable price, I believe they have located a source in China and are waiting on samples ( US & JP suppliers are asking a very high prices).

Blue_350_z

I would have to agreed the Amuse system is very appealing visually but way over priced, the design that HiTech came up with will produce good torque and power but also followed Nissan's design with the rear muffler thereby looking like orginal equipment and keeping the car's under body aerodynamics close to the original. They have also made a weight saving of 6kg over the original system, I believe HiTech will make a Ti system costing 30 - 40% less than the oversea products.
Yes I will make a sound clip, post installed photos + post dyno results but I will need someone to host the sound file.
