Picture this.......
Last Saturday.
You've been invited to a wedding, you've washed your Z and put on your suit.
You start driving, everything is right on time. You turn into the M4 and as you're in your turn onto the entry ramp, you notice green paint on the road. You're committed to the turn and are unsure if the paint is wet or dry.
Answer: paint is wet.
Lose it sideways on the paint but don't hit anything. Pull over a couple of hundred metres up the M4 and check out the situation. The car is covered in green paint specks mostly down one side but heaps underneath.
Turn around go home and try to wash the paint off still in your suit and now running late.
Anyway got most of it off but still some left.
The dilemma is how do I get the rest off without damaging the paint even more? Some say buff it out, but I don't want the swirls. I have a DB so I'm sure the swirls will just magnify.
Any suggestions?

Your options really run out quick once it's dry!
I'm really sad to hear you got the unwanted paint job. Take it to a good panel beater and see what option are left. I think buffing is going to be the cheapest.
Maybe a new clear coat after that?

That always been one of my nightmares. Everytime I see paint on the road I cringe.
Buffing is likely to be the easiest option but wet sanding may be another. You may want to consider a complete clear coat of the whole car afterwards. After seeing Zuffs last week it really looked good (or maybe it was just the fact that his was clean and mine was rather dirty).
EDIT: Actually try calling Meguiars customer service on 1800 804 182, they may be able to suggest something.

A decent polish will get the specks off even if the paint has dried provided that there was a polish on the clear coat prior. Also try using a clay block with a lubericant like Quick Detailer or as Aps said take it to Meguiars and they will get it off. There is one of their outlets that use their products and have had excellent results for the same problem.
