Nismo's official 7200rpm on S1
 

Just came back from the engine/performance forum and saw this great news from Nismo...

I have got S1 engine conversion out already... and apparently the ECM will allow you to go onto 7200rpm with nismo's 1 year/20K km warranty on the emission law which does not worry us I would say... and I guess they offer factory warranty on this engine as well?!

Also the price seems to be a lot cheaper without option 12, 13 and 14 on the list... when I guess those are Weldina Exhaust and weldina something and light weight flywheel?!

great finding rich :) I would like to change the Piping flow from the Air box though and the ECU. But i'll pass the camshaft :p don't want to go into too deep into the engine. ;)

Oh btw looks like Nismo have the Crank pulley as well, isn't it?

how much power does it produce after the AU$11Grand mod?

I am not too sure how much power will it put out though, ypwpat.... but it will be most likely to be the complete car that nismo promotes lately (300HP). I hope that's worth any penny that the buyer would want to spend... it will be a good upgrade though I would say in the reliable way as nismo must have tested these parts before they put those together (also 350GT is sold as a complete car).

Not sure about the ECU just yet after speaking to Peter, it is about the NAPS which seems to be the largest problem if we send the ECM back to Japan to be retuned. Well... hopefully we can find out more later on!
