Wheel hub 6th bolt
Hey guys I just bought some enkeis and they won't fit on my wheel hub because there is a 6th both sticking out.
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....517159150.jpeg I'm not sure what it is so I haven't taken an angle grinder to it yet, would new hubs fix the issue? I might as well because I need new bearings also. 2006 6mt touring Thanks for any help. |
That bolt and spacer is intended to keep rear wheels from being incorrectly mounted up front. Use a little lubricant like WD-40 and a 10mm socket to remove it properly.
Or, if you're replacing hubs and rotors, just discard your old rotors and you no longer have that problem. |
It's so you can't mix up front and rear oem wheels, if I remember correctly it comes off with a socket and a screwdriver to kinda pry at it

I did not know there were any Z's left that still had that bolt. LOL
