Eibach's OR H&R Springs???
Yo,
Just wondering which springs you guys think will look better or a 350 with 19's. After putting on the 19's the fender gap now looks pretty crappy so need to drop it a bit. Eibach's drop around 1" and H&R drop 1.5" which do you reckon will look better/be more practical. Does anyone have pictures of a 350 with 19's droppped on either Eibach's or H&R??? Thanks Matt |
I would go the Eibach's, I have seen them reviewed in magazines etc and they are quality product. I was going to get these before I changed my mind as they retain the stock driving feel, and lower the car the perfect amount.
Lowering the Zed by 1" is perfect on 19s, any further would most likely result in the tyre rubbing the gaurds over bumps. Also any further and your camber would be so far out that your tyres would only last 10,000kms. What type and spec wheels & tyres did you get, got any photos? |
I think 1.5" may be too much for Sydney roads.

I got ROH Modena's on Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's 245/35/19 front and 255/35/19 rear . Because of that i am a bit worried about the camber situation as i dont wanna pre-wear out my tires as they cost me alot of $$$. Do you reckon that i will be able to simply drop the car on the Eibach's without doing anything else in regards to camber??? In the US at the moment but dont have any photo's.

Defintely get an alignment after the drop but other than that you should be OK.

I was told a 1" drop from Eibach will wear out the damper quicker, so I wouldnt choose eibach if I'm not planning to change shocks

The H&R's do not drop the car 1.5". I have them on the car and it drops it 15mm Front / 30 mm Rear.
