Default Lambo Doors?

Does anyone know where a lambo door conversion for the 350z can be done or sourced in Australia/Sydney?

Thanks

pls don't tell me you want to do this!

If you want to impress the RiCERs just go twin turbo. It'll end up being cheaper anyway.

I've actually considered it simply because it may make getting in and out of the car in tight spots easier. I'm not a little guy and the long doors combined with the fact I sit a fair way forward make it interesting at times.

I remember seeing this place (http://www.metalking.com.au) advertise them for the 350Z but I doubt they'll have actually done any. Probably just import the US kits and add some profit.

LOL... not doing it to impress ricers in any way. Main reason is what Apsilon just stated above. Also, if done properly I could imagine it adding some class to the car.

Also, intending to do the twin turbo kit once things are more final and the kits become more readily available.

The 350z already had the ricers shaking in their boots, imagine what lambo doors would do

...but then again, no, it's not the main reason for wanting the doors if even.

Hmm, maybe I'll get one of those electronic BOVs. Be a lot cheaper than an actual TT

Don't want to think about hitting a roo. A car that low and a big red. You may not be around to post about it. All it'd take would be for it jump just as you're about to it and it'd probably end up through the windshield.

Yeah I know

You have to go a fair way out for the big roos anyway. I don't think I've seen a roo at all for at least the last 3 months.

Talk about hitting a big red - I was unlucky enough to hit a Kookaburra at 230k once on the back road to Gunnedah -
straight thru the windscreen in a snowstorm of feathers and blood and guts.

A mate sitting in the bacg seat copped the body bits and even after we pulled up was still sitting mute and shocked with just two white eyes blinking in uncomprehension and surrounded by red blood splatter and little wormy things that I seem to remember was later diagnosed as bits of intestine.

He never uttered a word!

BTW, we were in an M5 Bimmer - that had some get up and go when the "afterburners" lit!

We were seeing how fast we could go! Even the rear window blew out!

It was fuggen ***** in the duds all round!

Stey under 200 now - specially on the chopper with no windscreen1

Bird strikes are far more likely than anything else. I remember a couple of years ago I almost ended up with a turkey of all things in the passenger seat during an Old Pac Hwy run. Scared the ***** out of me but I think it scared my passenger even more I'd only ever seen frozen turkeys before that and this one was at least 3 times the size of any of those.

Here is one of the kits you can buy.

eBay Link

The thing is though the doors do not go complety vertical. They go up and out as seen in the photo on ebay so I still don't see how this is going to help you.

I believe lambo doors go up 90 deg to the chassis.

I like the doors, have fun getting a engineer certificate.

For the vent seats, is comfortable with the top down, can feel the air cool down the back of your body. In the cold day, can turn on the heater and heated seat. I think the vent seats make the interior look more stylish and I think it a must in all ZR.

Well, I saw and know someone in US done the lambo door in the roadster already, it look F*c#i@g Crazy, I think will catch max look around town!!! Specially chicks
