Sydney meet/cruise?!?
Well the guys South pulled it off! About time us Northies got together.
It's been attempted before a few times. Lets see who would be interested in a drive day. I'll put in the effort to find us some interesting roads if we can pull our socks up and get the cars on the road on the same day.
Who's is likely to come to a social drive? And who prefers a track day or maybe both?

Zuffster, I would love to come on a cruise and meet everyone!
Saturdays after the soccer season ends are good for me, Sunday's if my darling wife is working will also be good. Im sure it doesnt suit everyone but, with notice, any other day during the week is fine also. I'll just see the boss and tell him I want a day off, I sleep with him so that won't be a problem.
Soccer finishes at the end of August.
Just dont make it too early in the morning!
As always

I'm a big fan of a widweek run myself as I like to spend the weekend with the kids.
Unfortunately not everyone has an easy job or understanding boss.
We should aim for a run 3 weeks from now. Maybe to the Hunter Valley so the guys from Newcastle don't feel left out.

I'm up for some cruising. Just let me know where, and when.
I'd prefer a weekend (Saturday night, or a Sunday morning dawn run) but, otherwise I'll try make a weekday one....

Well I'm not sure how long a cruise you guys want to do but here are some ideas.
1/ Windsor to Newcastle on route 69. It's a way out drive with only one town in between windsor and Singleton. Should be fun for our cars.
2/ Another fun run up the Blue Mountains
3/ Royal National Park... fun fun fun! Stop at the lookout and watch people jump off with their hand glidders.
4/ breakfast at the beach (Bondi)... cruise locally for a few hours.
Take your pick!

I'd be up for 1 & 2 since I haven't done them before.
The Royal National Park is too choppy for my liking. If they smoothed the damned thing out it would be a great road, but then it would encourage people to drive at ludicrous speed.
While a cafe cruise wouldn't be my first choice, it would be nice to meet up with you guys and just shoot the breeze.

Might be in
Hi guys,
I might be able to join you also if it is a weekend where my lovely wife is working. Of the options listed I'm easy but 1 and 3 sound good.

I guess it's time to decide on the date. I'll not have a free weekend until september. How does september 4th or 5th sound? Should be enough time for every one to get ready.
