17" wheels mounted with 255/275 40's? possible?
 

i looked through this forum and really havent gotten a definitive answer i just wanted to be reassured that you can fit a 255/40 and a 275/40 tire on a 17" nissan enthusiast wheel? is this possible. I have a set of bf goodrich r1's im dying to use

I'm running 255/40/17 ra-1's all the way around now
 

and had 275/40/17's on the rears and and 235/45/17's on the front and didn't have any problems at all. In fact you can run the 275's on front and have clearence

For autocross, I run 275/40 Victoracers on a set of stock 17s. No problems so far. I know several of the guys running the naitonal tour run these same size tires and wheels.

I'm running 245/45-17 fronts and 255/45-17 rears with no problems.
