??Best set up with 350evo sway and koni's
I was just wondering what everyone else is running as far as a set up with a 350evo front sway and koni's with kumho 710's on 17" stock rims.
I will be racing AUTO X on a concrete Airport runway, very smooth, with 60sec avg course times. |
Also tire pressures for the kumho 710's on the 17" stock rims
|
full stiff on the front bar
full stiff on the front konis, full soft on the rear konis 275 710s, 37 up front, and 32 in the rear. It's worked well for Andy and I so far. |
I was running exactly the same as chris just described. It is def. fast that way.

andrew got the tires, they look great, put them on the wheels today and gonna try them at an event tomorrow, thanks again
I think I remember you putting 36 psi front and 33 psi in rears? When I get the konis I will give that set up a try at the pro solo's here in toledo, I should have bought your konis when I had the chance, just a little light on cash at the time. |
Wow what a difference with those tires, I had the best times of all the racers in B stock, B stock street tires, and BSP. then we got to do some fun runs and I put my street tires back on and my times went from 52 to 54.5 and 55. Thats amazing. I got the Pro solos this weekend and just got the konis today in the mail, and will put them on tonight or tomorrow.
Hey chris, I think I remeber your project Z had the exaust removed for races? Where at did you take it off at, and also did you change out your air filter and did you think it helped? thanks |
I ended up making a Tip with some random exhaust peices from autozone. A hammer and some ingenuity, along with a flange from AZ as well.
As for the air filter, I used to run a K&N, but after having MAF problems I went back to a paper fram, cheap and easy to clean. |
