Default Barber Motorsports Track Vid

http://www.forgedperformance.com/med...os/Barber1.wmv
Just got back from Barber this weekend with zippy350Z....had a blast. Thought I would share the vid, and also looking for some contructive advise, for those that have been to the track. This was my first time at Barber.

Nice work, Sharif. Your driving is most definitely improving and you are way smoother on the inputs and getting on throttle well coming out of the turns. I do not know the track, but there is a very engaging set of compound turns and some nice elevation changes. Looks like a nice track, albeit with a few glimpses of walls that seem a touch too close for real comfort. How much elevation is there to the circuit.....about 75 feet?

Thanks Ed. The elevation change is 80ft, and those blind crests are nerve racking. True, there are some scarey barriers in certain spots. The track was originally designed for motorcycles, so the layout is designed to provide room for a sliding human body....not a 3500lb car.

Nice stuff. When do they have open days like that at the track??? I only live about 30 minutes away and it would be nice to take a couple laps around it one day

Nice video Sharif - Barber sure is a nice facility! One on my fondest track memories ever was running there at the end of dusk in the dark...

Hi John,

Yes, I saw your write-up on Barber from last year (I think). In the summertime, its bright and clear at 5pm when the track shut down for us.
The track is already tricky enough in daylight...can only imagine what it's like at dusk.
