Who's going to NJMP this summer?

Anyone else signed up for events at New Jersey Motorsports Park this season? I'll be a EMRA's July 11-12 event on the Lightning Circuit, and then at NASA NE's August 5-6 event on the Thunderbolt Track.

(In between, I'll be at VIR with NASA MA, July 25-27.)

I also plan to sign up for NASA NE's October weekend at NJMP that will be one day on Lightning and the next on Thunderbolt.

NJMP is only 140 miles away, making it my second closest track after Summit Point, and I'm really excited to have two new circuits so close to home.

If you're interested, act fast, because I expect these events will fill up quickly. I hope I'll see some other Zs there.

Help me out here. I want to get some track time without paying for a membership or getting a license. I wanted to get an SCCA license to attend their NJMSP even in July but I just don't have any time. Can I just register and pay to attend the EMRA and NASA events without becoming a member? I don't care what class. I just want some track time this year and my SCCA aspirations are out due to my crazy work schedule.
Any ideas?

Not sure about EMRA, but I believe NASA requires membership when registering. Why not join NASA? One year membership is only $44, which includes a subscription to Grassroots Motorsports. Seems like a a great deal to me.

FYI, a conflict has arisen, so I won't be going to the EMRA event in July. Instead, I've signed up to run with the North East Region of the Porsche Club for three days on the Lightning track, Aug 2-4, right before the NASA event on Thunderbolt, Aug. 5-6.

Five solid days of driving. Woo hoo!

(Actually, I'll probably take a break and not drive on Aug. 4. I'm getting too old for this sh!t.)
