Spring rates for KW clubsport, changing rates

Okay, so the stock rates for the KW Clubsports are 855lbs/in front and 455lbs/in rear. I called KW for more info and they said the dampers could adjust to support springs ranging from 555-1155lbs/in in the front and 155-755lbs/in in the rear.

Is anyone here running different rates on KW Clubsports here?

The reason I ask is because that front spring rate seems really high to me, and I will be running SPL midlink so I will need to buy springs for the rear anyway.

Just trying to get some info from the experts, I'll be running Hankook R-S3's in 275 or 285 all around and a weight of around 3350 with me in the car. Was thinking somewhere around 616lbs/in front (11kg/mm) and 504lbs/in rear (9kg/mm) as a starting point.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

aren't the kw cs now a 'true coilover' design in the rear?

I would probably look into Nismo T2 spring rates, IMO they are a good place to start.

why are you looking to change something you haven't used yet?

you can't use SPL midlinks with Clubsports either btw, as Clubsports are only now offered as a true rear coil design

Since when? Called kw when I posted this and they said clubsports are oem style and the only thing they would offer in a true coil would be a custom.

PM me price of the clubsport in a true coilover rear you get a set I'll buy it.

Z1, any response? You get a set of those clubsports that you were talking about and I'll buy them. Every sponsor I've contacted about them and even KW themselves said the clubsports are OEM style rear. You say they are now only offered in true coil, show me.

sorry, didn't mean the clubsports, got those confused with their next tier up units

that spring rate spread is beyond retarded fwiw, you're right - 11/9 should be a decent spread, will be largely dictated by your driving style and what those tires can deal with (never used them myself)

Thanks for clearing that up and thsnks for the input. So many people are confused about what KW actually offers it's not funny. Vendors included.
