My scca class?

Sorry guys. Still new to scca autox. I'm in solo and I've only got 1 season under my belt. I'm in a region with relaxed rules a bit and I ran cstock last season which I feel like was wrong. I should be ib B right?

Well now my car has koni yellow shocks, eiback prokit springs, rear lower spl camber arms, spl sway endlinks and hotchkis sways. Besides that I'm stock. Am I in Bsp guys?

Thanks a lot

The metal bushings in the camber arms bump you all the way to SSM....

....good luck with that.

Good god. If I were to change arms to an SPC or something equivalent, where would I land?

As the cliche advice goes, pick a class, find out what the restrictions are, then build the car around that.

Adding mods and then trying to fit in a class typically throws you into a modified or prepared class.

Keep the shocks and put everything back to stock and race in CS. spend the money in some tires and seat time.

That's my advice as well. It's always better to build a car to a class vs the other way around.

Many SCCA regions are not going by the rulebook in order to give novices some seat time. Now that you know that, it's probably going to be hard to swap out all your mods and go back to OEM. Unless you start to win on a regular basis or decide to move up to Divisional or National competition, consider continuing to hone your skills in local Solo competition and perhaps take in a PDX at a nearby SCCA track. Your mods won't matter there (but you'll probably want to upgrade to better brakes).

I know it's not the wisest thing class wise but I have a plan or picture of my car modwise in my mind regardless of where it lands class wise. They probably won't mind if I run in sp here. But should I be in bsp or csp? As in which one is technically correct for a z that should be in sp?

And yea my next on the list is a set of used brembos rebuilt with stoptech pads and seome cheap rotors. But that probably won't happen until closer to the end of the season.

I'm in wor btw. Kilcare speedway if anyone is around haha.

"Stock" 350's = C Stock

SP 350's = BSP.

Most local event competitors don't care about high-speed ninja bushings, 50hp wings etc. National events, where contingency money is on the line, are a different story.

I would be too embarrassed to complain about petty crap like that.

"The only reason you kicked my @$$ was because you had that aftermarket skirt kit!"

No. Just can't bring myself to do that.

"There is NO way you got through the slalom that much faster than me! Let me see those bushings!!!"

Nobody ever said SCCA rules make total sense. They're made to prevent the really crafty bastards from exploiting specific classes (poorly).
