350z HR Cranking Amps Requirement?

Working on getting the weight down a little further in the STU car, and the next target is the battery. My WRX was pretty happy at anything over 200 Cranking amps, but the old 350HR has a bit more on the table when it comes to overall rotating mass and compression ratio.

I'm seeing Odyssey 680s around a bit.. but does anyone actually know the cranking requirement of these cars at a reasonable temp (say above 60*)

Anyone having any continued success with a lightweight battery of choice?

I would look into a lithium ion battery ...

I had a EarthX on a motorcycle and the battery was great along with a few good customer service interactions. My bike battery was 2lbs.

Braille makes a handfull of options as well

Have to look, but I don't think I ever tried anything under 270cca.....which was plenty to get the car started on ethanol (not so easy cold).
