The focus is shifting back on it. The marriage is complete and the major house reno is complete.

I pulled my wife into making composite body panels with me. I posted on my thread of some of it.

Ha bringing it back from the dead ehhh?
Quite a bit of work has been done!
Gussets, paints, solid rear subframe bushings, solid trans and engine mounts, battery relocated to rear... I'm probably missing a few things. Here are some pictures!

Slapped windshield on yesterday as well as trim! Almost ready to go. Need to find some scales to corner balance!!! Anyone in Michigan willing to help out?
Things left to do: finish doors, install aerocatch hood latches, corner balance and paint!!! Can't wait to beat the he'll out of it

Painted the hatch and lean. Didn't do any sanding or filling so it doesn't look fantastic but road tested it holds up great. Car is going to get repeated with paint matching the hatch so it'll look better.

Not perfect but got another 10lbs off the front end. That's a victory in my book.

Quality is getting better with each piece. 3lbs a piece and solid as a rock. Might not need reinforcement!

with my mild steel hood vents my OEM hood is down to ~19lbs ... 4lbs less is the best I could do...

Do you run lexan windows? Trying to figure out how to delete the 40lbs of window motors/regulators, glass, panel and still have a hard-mounted/non-opening lexan window.
