Does NASA allow wrapping the shoulder harness around the harness bar or do you need to have it bolted down? I can do either but wrapping seems to have less failure modes... The rule book doesnt say anything so im guessing its to the builders discretion?

perfect, thanks!
Another question i have is, is it legit to mount the anti sub marine belts to the bracket I've made for the seat to mount to? Attached a picture of a similar setup to mine, don't have a picture of mine. Thinking of mounting it to the diagnol square tubing.

Mocked up door bars... passenger side will be single plane x... drivers side will b angle out a bit... might go a bit lower with the x, might b too big of a gap between floor and bottom bar. Also debating running a bar from middle of x down to rocker panel... seems like door area is where most chassis flex would occur.

LOL
Yeah. It's not worth the minor weight savings. It scratches super easy, pretty much when you sneeze and it's not DOT legal if you ever want to drive the car to work or somewhere.
Lexan is cool, no doubt. If you are super competitive and have a BIG budget, it's the way to go.
