All of these Zspeed Performance aluminum shields have been road and track tested, Fit perfect and are properly designed. These are laser cut and professionally produced to perfection!

These under shrouds were developed by Zspeed Performance to protect your critical engine parts under the car and also because the cheesy plastic OEM shield deteriorates over time and usually ends up on the highway behind you somewhere.

Without the shield in place the air that comes in through your fascia should be directed into you radiator and instead will just take the path of least resistance and exit under the car instead of cooling off your radiator. Just like the upper radiator air guides keep air going through the radiator, The bottom is even more important to have in place as it is much easier for air to escape there.

The under shrouds will fit all 2003-2009 350Z's with stock front fascias and should fit any fascia that the OEM under shroud still bolts to. These have only been test fitted on stock bumpers.
These will also fit 03-07 G35 coupe/ 2002-2006 Sedans (RWD Only)
Will not fit G35X All wheel drive sedans.

The ZSpeed under shroud will help give the lower front fascia much more rigidity also, As you probably know, running without the shield in place at high speeds can do serious damage to the front fascia as it will droop down and can rip apart.

The BEST feature of all thou is that you can actually change your oil AND filter without removing the entire shroud. I have integrated a oil change access door into the shroud so all you have to do is remove 2 bolts and you have ample room to get to the oil filter and drain plug even with the GTSpec V-1 front tie bar in place.

Weight on the entire piece is 4.5lbs, The plastic OEM shield for reference weighs in at a bit over 3lbs.
Very lightweight and much more protection!

Fitment
2003-2008 350Z

2003-2007 G35 Coupe

2003-2006 G35 Rear drive sedans.

This will clear the APS aluminum oil pan on the G or Z and also fits with the JWT oil pan spacer and stock pan.
If you have the APS oil pan that goes under the oil filter you may not be able to get to the filter without removing the shield.

Works with Vortech supercharger kit, Some slight pipe adjustments may be needed.

Known to fit with the Nismo V2, Charge Speed and a few others, If your stock shield can still be attached to your aftermarket front bumper this will also.

Also fits the Nismo 350Z so long as you have the OEM front splitter still in place.

Bump!

Definitely interested......first time I stumbled upon these.....

Couple questions:
-I like the idea of the door but how much access does it give you to the oil filter? Can you get a good hand on it?

-How much lower or farther away from the frame than the stock stuff?

-Lastly, this seems like it may hold heat rather than let it escape through the bottom of the car....how far back does it exhaust go? Looks about even with the hubs?

got one of these on my G, I love it, fitment was great, and it is just (to me) all around better than the nasty stock plastic.

In answer to one of the questions above, it covers the exact same area as the stock plastic undertray, so no, it does not hold heat in any more than the plastic one; in addition, metal is a great conductor of heat, so the air flowing underneath the car will actually get more heat transferred to it by the metal. Not saying it will lower any temps, but it is certainly as least as good as the stock tray.

Also, I can say it fits with the JWT oil pan spacer. At least on my G.

Thanks Dave!

OP, The shields have been for over 2 years and work excellent. Plenty of room to get to the filter and drain plug, you can put your shoulder through it if needed :)

These will pull more heat out than the stock plastic shield as they are vented better and vented around the oil pan also to help cool it off even better.

You almost got me sold! Sorry im bein so difficult but i just got one more concern. How much lower does it sit....im assuming that because its made for the jwt that its definetely an inch or 2 lower. While it would be much more forgiving for bottoming out or scraping id rather still not scrape just because i can. Id hate to get it andstart scraping more often becuz it sits 2 inches lower....follow me?
Im sittin in stock ride height now but ill prolly go for some coilovers in the springand drop it an inh depending on the tire setup i go with.

Because it is flat all the way back it actually sits a little higher than the stock shield giving a bit more ground clearance. I have not had anyone have issues with it dragging when sitting low and a lot of the guys have been buying them because there cars sit so low because it protects the pan area better.

You got me sold.....love the idea anyway. Ill do it up tonite or tomorow.

I'd like to take advantage of the free shipping on the undershroud, but I also want to buy some front and rear Hawk HPS Performance brake pads from you. Can I get the undershroud and the brake pads shipped together for free under this special as a single shipment?
