Hydraulic E-brake DIY
here's a DIY on hydraulic e brake set up. im pretty much following JasonZ-YA's DIY without pics. https://my350z.com/forum/6587128-post34.html
For now, i'll just post up pics as i go, and throw in some descriptions latteerr. Depends on whether you want to use your ABS or not, your option varies. I chose to keep the ABS so this is what i got. -CNC ebrake handle and bracket. CNC400A (i think) - WILWOOD SINGLE REMOTE RESERVOIR MASTER CYLINDER - P/N 260-10371 -Three 3/16" OD. 10mm x 1.0 brake lines -Three CNC 10mm all the way around Tee fitting -A pack of five. 3/16" bubble flare fittings from autozone -mini line cutter from Harbor Freight $4.99 -Hydraulic double flare tool (i was lucky enough to borrow from someone. Two out of four OEM lines are steel. i was told that it's really hard to make flares on steel lines with non hydraulic flaring tool) -Teflon tape - 1" by x length by 1/4" thickness flat metal bar for the mounts for ebrake -Epoxy to make hold custom brackets to hold brake lines here and there I purchased most of stuff from Mackenzie's performance, autozone, Summit Racing and Harbor Freight. This is what i have so far. I decided to go with remote mount and mount the reservoir in the center console. http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/y...1/IMG_1165.jpg http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/y...1/IMG_1170.jpg i cut that crap out that was never used. http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/y...1/IMG_1173.jpg http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/y...1/IMG_1171.jpg Question: what is the flare style on brake hardlines? bubble, inverted, or double bubble? |

This DIY turned out that you NEED to have inline flow valve.
So i went with inline set up just like Nackers. This DIY ends here lol! mod can delete this if he wants. |
