Default 370z wheel bearings fit 350z?

Title says it all. I have a 2005 350z. Looking to rid myself of break knock back and one option is to install 370z wheel bearings.

Is this a direct fit in the 350?

OP, please update this thread. I also hate the brake-pad knock-back problem on my 2007 z with OEM Brembos. There's got to be a better wheel bearing option out there

I wish I had an answer for you. I emailed Z1 Motorsports and never heard back from them. Haven't called. But their email response is awful.

Knowing what I'm dealing with now, I prep the brakes with two pumps before standing hard on them. The last track day was much better because if this. Got a video up on my build thread.

I am considering stainless steel lines and the Z master cylinder brace. Not sure how much that'll help.

I'm no expert, but those 2 products are designed to improve the accuracy of your pedal effort. The og design of the master cylinder mounting was shown to have unacceptable (to enthusiasts) play.

Have you tried polishing your glide pins/bolts?

I'll check them out. I haven't even had the calipers off. Love the way you change the pads on the Brembo's.

Having raced the Z33 from coast-to-coast for damn near a decade, I haven't experienced much pad knockback. Once my Brembos were swapped over to SS lines and properly bled with race DOT 4 fluid, I never pump them before a hard, decisive application. Despite hard d2d racing use, the standard Nissan Z33 wheel bearings have held up well in general.

After putting 200k miles on my 97 M3 over 10 years and went with the 07 350z GT with Brembos, the brake pad knock-back of the z brakes was a startling disappointment. I figured 20 years of advancements would yield a great braking system, but maybe not.

With the M3, the brake pedal level was always exactly the same and very consistent regardless of how hard I drove it.

With the 350z daily driving, the brake pedal engagement was at one level, but after a few very hard corners, the brake pedal engagement was 1-2 inches closer to the floor on the first brake pedal stroke. Modulation and power are still ok, but it's really unnerving when you expect them to grab at a certain point and the pedal feels like it's going to the floor. It's not really going to the floor, but it seems that way.

When I had the car at the track, I always double-pumped just so it felt more consistent. I also have DOT4 and replaced the OEM pad with Stoptech 309's for street/track, but the car exhibited this behavior from day 1 brand new.

I wonder if it's a run of loose bearings for certain model years because I rarely hear about this being an issue. Probably one of my biggest complaint about the performance of the car.

Ninja Edit: Now that I think about it, by 2006 GT and my 2007 GT both had this issue. (Got rid of the 2006 due to oil consumption issues)

Maybe what I am experiencing is the rubber lines expanding and that's why I have to double / triple pump my brakes to feel confident in them. I will know next week. I have SS lines and the brake master cylinder brace coming today. Next track day is 8/10.

Just updating this if anyone was looking. I put on the SS lines and it seemed to fix the issue. Last track day was wet so I didn't get to push the car real hard until the last session but overall they felt a lot better.

I got Z1's premium lines and master cylinder brace.

No. 370z FRONT wheel bearings will NOT fit a 350z. (I don't know about REARS)

I had purchased a brake ducting bracket from Stillen for a 370 with the intent of mounting it on my 350. The bolt pattern is different.

Just for info in case someone finds this again, the 370z stuff for the rear works but you need the bearing/hub and axle. Z1 sells an upgrade package.
