I guess the question is....how low do you want to go? less than 1"? more than 1"? Also, what kind of driving will you be doing? Track? Daily Driving? There's not one lowering spring out there that is the best. It really depends on what application you need it for. If you track it, you might as well go for coilovers.

I have the hochtkis springs, really happy with them. Car has better traction on take off as well. Perfect ride hieght....my opinion.

quick question before i buy springs, i'm thinking about the s-tech myself but was told that i'm better off buying a full suspension because springs will not make the ride smoother as opposed to a full suspension kit. Didn't want to spend over 1k on suspension but wonders now if springs are bad for our z?

I'll let you know about the tein S-tek as I have just had them installed on my car. But have not had too much opportunity to drive yet. I kept the shocks OE for the time being. The Tein only drop the car by 0.6-0.7, so in theory, whell alignment should not be an isue, I hope.

My car has a body kit and some deep dish xxr ready for stance but I need some good lowering springs that drop 2" can anyone help me ?

TheDangerZone 03-29-2013 02:22 PM

my opinion of "best" isn't the same as your "best" or the next guy's.

ny350zat 03-29-2013 11:15 PM

i have the tokico d specs shocks/springs combo.....perfect ride height and same w the dampening

CleanFairladyZ 03-30-2013 10:26 AM

tokico d-specs are definitely not what that guy's looking for.

Had sport lines on my last z and it was lowered about 1.7 inches when settled it rode ok I was on 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 super Advans with +25 offset and it was nice but if u have the money coils is the best way to go even
